Nature can be a beautiful place. It is calm, serene, and gorgeous. It makes sense that people would enjoy going for hikes and witnessing its natural beauty. One of the best places for most to do this is in a national park. They offer a great curated experience of things to do and see while still letting you explore and enjoy nature. While this is true they often have an entry fee. If you plan to go to many parks on your trip this can stack up fast. There is a trick to help ease that burden though, the national park pass!
If you go to enough parks, buying a pass to them can make sense. This way you pay one higher price to get to enjoy the parks as much as you want for a period of time. The way to tell if this makes sense for your trip is to first plan out what parks you want to go to and how many times. This can be a rough estimate if needed. Then you determine what their fees are and who runs them. Is it the federal government or someone else. There will often be passes for parks such as an annual pass for these groupings. So, you can buy a federal park pass for instance. If the cost of all the parks you get access to with the pass is more than the pass itself the pass makes sense. Otherwise just pay individually. This will take some research but will help you save some money on your nature adventure!
