Florence is a beautiful city with lots of things to do. Here are a few of the most popular attractions in the city that you need to check out.
1. Michaelangelo’s David status at the Accademia Gallery. The giant sculpture is truly a sight to behold. It is incredibly detailed and miraculous to think that someone sculpted it. Combined with the other items in the collection you will grow a deeper appreciation for the artistry that went into these incredible works.
2. The Learning Tower of Piza isn’t a Florence attraction but can be reached with a 45 minute train ride making it the perfect day trip. You can easily get on one of the trains that come every 15 minutes to see this iconic tower in all its glory and then come back and continue your Florence adventure.
3. The Uffizi Gallery is an incredible art museum full of famous works. It has masterpieces from artists like Michaelangelo, Da Vinci, Botticelli and more. With how popular this museum is it is important to book tickets in advance. Otherwise, you might be waiting a long time to get in.
